Abstract

Project Summary - Administrative Core This collaborative Project is comprised of investigative teams from three different academic institutions, working together to synergistically address scientific questions regarding novel mechanisms of genetic errors of immunity. A strong central administrative core is required to support these collaborative interactions. The goal of the Administrative Core is to provide infrastructure for the organizational and administrative management of the program, coordination of communication, and quality control including inter-institutional agreements and resolution of disputes. This Administrative Core will be responsible for: 1) Coordination of communication within the program including in person meetings between Project and Core Leads and their research teams. Additionally, the Core will be responsible for organizing an external advisory committee, and support for data sharing between research groups. 2) Program management duties including timely reporting of progress reports, contractual agreements and budgeting, monitoring scientific progress and milestones, and establishing mechanisms for resolution of disputes. 3) Supporting regulatory agreements and infrastructure of sharing of samples. This will include coordinating regulatory approvals and supporting shipping of samples.
