Abstract

Support of the Diabetes by Type in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults (DiCAYA). A total of $600,000 (including $5,941 overhead via IAA) per year should be use for DiCAYA to support research aimed at assessing the incidence and prevalence of diabetes among children, adolescents and young adults in the United States and provide estimates by diabetes type, age, sex, race/ethnicity and geographic area using a surveillance network of diabetes registries in racial/ethnic, socio-economic, and geographically diverse populations using low-cost, sustainable, population-based surveillance systems.
