Abstract

The Health FFRDC Operator to provide independent, expert technical, analytical, and subject matter support to conduct a survey of the rare disease landscape, develop and identify best practices for infusing an equity perspective, and lay the groundwork for a pilot of preclinical and therapeutics research into rare diseases with health disparity implications. The Health FFRDC will provide the timely integration and application of many disciplines and functional specialties that are too broad and complex to acquire through individual, competitive procurements with commercial contractors.
