Abstract
The Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), NCI, is requesting support to develop capability for performing molecular mechanistic studies of approved and investigational agents in various biochemical, cellular and in vivo systems. This molecular pharmacology capability will enable NCI to elucidate drug mechanisms of action (MOA) in the context of cellular pathways, tumor heterogeneity, emergence of drug resistance, and immunological response. This project focuses on dissecting molecular pathways in response to drug treatment to elucidate an MOA to advance pre-clinical therapeutic investigations by the NCI.
