Abstract

The ARIS is now into the fourth year of recruitment. We are currently recruiting from 19 US and international centers. Approvals from the various IRBs are still pending for the British investigators while the other clinics are fully operation. The reading center is complete with the certification of the equipment and the personnel for measurement of the functional studies that are activated. There are 3 more sites to be activated. The Reading center is actively involved with eligibility gradings. We have recruited 149 participants . This is a multicenter study which is led by the NIH leadership. This natural history study has now been closed by the NEI leadership but we hope to incorporate these data into the DRCR.Retina Network. Data analysis continues.
