Abstract

This research study seeks to understand the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on minority women and their families to assist in developing community-based interventions for recovery and resiliency. Over the past year we have implemented the study and performed the following activities. We designed and programmed the Baseline and Maternal Health questionnaires, developed recruitment materials and held recruitment events and initiated study enrollment. Additionally, we resolved technical issues that occurred with electronic enrollment system and created processes for collecting biospecimens and biosampling at the NIEHS Clinical Research Unit (CRU) and piloted CRU and home visit processes.
