Abstract
We continue to develop and test our mathematical models of human metabolism, control of food intake, and body weight dynamics. We are also analyzing data from continuous glucose monitors to better understand the reliability between food intake and the time course of interstitial glucose. We are also developing mathematical models that relate how various attributes of food influence calorie intake such as energy density and hyper-palatability. We are also analyzing how gut hormones believed to be related to appetite control affect calorie intake.
