Abstract

This project seeks to use qHTS to identify cytotoxic small molecules from within the NCATS screening collection. Follow-up studies will use a variety of secondary assays to characterize hits and identify a subset for subsequent directed target identification efforts. If successful, this effort could identify new druggable targets and mechanisms for drug discovery in cancer. During this period, the NCATS team has completed the high-throughput screen against small molecule libraries in both A673 (Ewing sarcoma) and Jurkat (T-ALL) cell lines. Active compounds have been identified, and will be tested in a battery of cytotoxicity assays.
