Abstract
In the next reporting period, CARD will engage in research activities to complement the existing work performed in the REGARDS study. We will contribute to existing datasets to aid in the overall research goal of understanding the genetic contributions to stroke prevalence in the United States. Future studies will be supported by the CARD data analytics team. Overall, data sharing and data democratization with inclusion of minority populations will improve the study of neurodegenerative diseases.
