Abstract
DNA has been obtained from approximately 20 major malformations for current and future investigations. We have recently expanded our investigations to include examining genetic variants related to metabolic factors thought to be related to birth defects. As this study receives no funding from NICHD, we are conducting investigations where funding is available from other institutions. Most recently these include NHGRI and University College, London. We will not be seeking additional funding. Our future plan is to make genetic data available to other investigator.
