Abstract
Highlighted collaborative efforts include 1) the first reported activators of the M2 isoform of pyruvate kinase which highlighted this enzymes control of the cancer cell metabolic state; 2) the 2R,6R-hydroxynorketamine metabolite which possesses striking antidepressant activity without the associated ketamine-like side effects; 3) a novel IIb3 antagonist Zalunfiban with a unique ion displacement-based mechanism that limits receptor conformational changes; and 4) a dual FLT3/IRAK4 inhibitor that possesses activity in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).
