Abstract
PROJECT SUMMARY/ABSTRACT The Accelerating Medicines Partnership Autoimmune and Immune-Mediated Diseases (AMP-AIM) program is developing a diverse array of multi-omic and imaging data to study multiple diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and Sjögren's disease, with an overarching goal to identify common inflammatory pathways and unique molecular underpinnings to these diseases. This proposal is designed to extend the work of the Accelerating Medicines Partnership Alzheimer's Disease (AMP- AD) Data Coordination Center (AD-DCC) grant (U24AG061340) to support the coordination and dissemination of resources of the AMP-AIM program. Specifically, this work aims to expand the access to and enable reuse of resources being developed in the AMP-AIM program by using the systems, processes, and technology developed in the AMP-AD program to both increase within consortia sharing and broader sharing with the research community. Due to similarity in data structure being between collected in the Accelerating Medicines Partnership Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (AMP-RA/SLE) program and the structure of data currently being hosted through the AMP-AD program, a supplement mechanism was used to provide rapid support of AMP- RA/SLE (U24AG061340-03S3). A second supplement project (U24AG061340-04S2) built on work done in the initial funding period to support the management of existing AMP-RA/SLE Phase I and Phase II resources by enabling upload of new Phase II data, expanding on features of the Autoimmune and Related Knowledge Portal (ARK Portal), and positioning the ARK Portal to accommodate requirements from the AMP-AIM program. This proposal aims to establish what we view as a ânext-generationâ AMP-AIM Data Management Core (DMC) to maximize FAIR-ness of autoimmune and immune-mediated disease research resources. We intend to achieve this vision by (1) evolving the AMP-AIM data sharing infrastructure while providing continued data management support to establish a standards-driven research ecosystem; and (2) enhancing ARK Portal resource dissemination to enable standards-powered discovery and reuse.
