Abstract
Project Summary/Abstract Our site at Johns Hopkins University is the lead site for the cerebrovascular reactivity(CVR) MRI biomarker kit that will be clinically validated in the MarkVCID 2 Study. CVR MRI requires an apparatus consisting of carbon-dioxide (CO2) monitor, gas bag, three-way valve for connection to the gas bag, non-rebreathing valve for control of the flow of the inhaled and exhaled air, and other accessories needed for CO2 gas delivery and sampling. The JHU site will purchase these components to build a âstartup kitâ, and will ship them to the enrollment sites. This will allow the enrollment sites to begin the data acquisition. Future replacement or ordering of components and supplies will be the responsibility of the individual site. In this Administrative Supplement, we will order these components, develop the âstartup kitsâ, and ship them to the enrollment sites.
