Abstract
PROJECT SUMMARY In this supplemental application, we request funding for one U.S. postdoctoral fellow and two LMIC postdoctoral fellows who have been selected for the 2023-2024 cohort of the UJMT LAUNCH Program. The funding is requested from three institutes, centers, or offices (ICOs) at the National Institutes of Health: NIEHS, ODP, and ORWH. Each ICO would provide support for one candidate. Funding includes stipend, health insurance, travel- related expenses, research, and site support. For our LMIC fellows, it also includes funding for short-term training attachments in the US to enrich their research and training experience. This ad hoc funding will allow UJMT LAUNCH to expand its pool of funded trainees in the 2023-2024 training cohort, thereby increasing the scope and impact of the overall program.
