Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY In this supplemental application, we request funding for three U.S. postdoctoral fellows and two U.S. predoctoral scholars who have been selected for the 2023-2024 cohort of the UJMT LAUNCH Program. The funding is expected from four institutes, centers, or offices (ICOs) at the National Institutes of Health: NCI, NIDCD, NIDDK, and OBSSR. Three ICOs will support one postdoctoral candidate each, while the remaining ICO is expected to fund two predoctoral scholars. Funding includes stipend, health insurance, travel-related expenses, research, and site support. This ad hoc funding will allow UJMT LAUNCH to expand its pool of funded trainees in the 2023- 2024 training cohort, thereby increasing the scope and impact of the overall program.
