Abstract
SenNet CODCC Supplement Abstract The purpose of the Supplement is to further the CODCC Administrative Core (Sub-Section C: Administrative Core: Including Consortium Coordination & Outreach) in these areas: 1. supporting each of the additional (murine-focused) awards and their integration in the consortium, 2. developing and executing a comprehensive, nationwide, underrepresented scientific internship award program in cellular senescence based on the NIH criteria Given the large expansion of consortium awards focused on murine data, additional support and coordination is required to handle the rapid growth in the development of the broader overall SenNet eco-system. This includes coordination with other single cell platforms at a larger scale to best serve the expanded SenNet Consortium adding substantive murine focus, and the broader research community. Internships will allow learning valuable new skills across the scientific research spectrum and gain experience in an educational lab environment. During the internship program, students will conduct cutting-edge research, greatly expanding their knowledge of biology and data analysis. Students will develop a variety of skills throughout the summer.
