Abstract

Project Summary: Funds are sought to support a summer research experience for an undergraduate Chemistry major at CSU, Courtney Solomon. These funds will primarily support salary. A structured research and career plan that includes phage display to isolate nanoparticle binding peptides, regular mentorship meetings, and participation in NSF-REU activities occurring in the department is aimed at helping establish a biomedical career for Courtney.
