Abstract
SUMMARY: This Administrative Supplement for Equipment requests supplemental funds to purchase a multiplex fluorescent imaging system. The ability to simultaneously image and analyze multiple fluorophores will greatly facilitate the proposed studies of lipid-protein-DNA interactions and enable us to address more complex biological questions. This instrument is an all-in-one imaging system to detect and analyze multiplex fluorescent labeling, chemiluminescence, bioluminescence, and virtually all common types of stains in gels, blots, and plates. The capacity of sensitive multiplexed imaging enhances research efficiency, data quantification, and reliability.
