Abstract

1. Project Summary/Abstract This Cooperative Agreement is expected to contribute to the knowledge base of the current state of food safety and its accompanying scientific research to a global audience, including challenges, risks and emerging food safety trends, and other food safety research based on WHO’s existing network efforts, such as the Global Foodborne Infections Network (GFN), International Food Safety Authorities Network (INFOSAN), Global Environment Monitoring System for Food (GEMS/Food); and Foodborne Disease Burden Epidemiology Reference Group (FERG); Enable the sharing of scientific research findings and data through expert meetings, informational documents summarizing the latest research, investigations, studies, and technical consultations.
