Abstract

SUMMARY – Administrative Core During the next stage of our AADCRC, we will work collaboratively to advance understandings about severity, threshold, and immunotherapy of peanut allergy. Our program in anchored by a clinical core (PATHWAYS) and two complementary research projects (ROSETTA and IMPALA). Accomplishing our overall aims and the specific aims of each project will require concerted efforts by all the investigators and staff in our AADCRC. Our Administrative Core will coordinate activities across PATHWAYS, ROSETTA, and IMPALA, in addition to managing communication and engagement with other AADCRC teams and the NIAID. The Administrative Core will ensure that our activities are synchronized both internally within our AADCRC and externally with the AADCRC network and NIAID. The Administrative Core will organize regular meetings for the key personnel of our center to coordinate research activities, troubleshoot challenges, and present results; build a database for unifying and sharing clinical study data within our AADCRC; organize biospecimen processing and allocation to research projects; and provide fiscal oversight for our center's research activities. It will also be responsible for handling conflict resolution should it be needed and organizing research-related travel and training. In summary, the Administrative Core will facilitate the organization, management, and operations of our AADCRC so that we can achieve our high-level expectations for our center's scientific work, governance, and management.
