Abstract

The core provides variety of next generation sequencing services ranging from RNAseq, Chip-seq, targeted and whole exome sequencing to single cell sequencing applications. Two types of sequencing services are provided, sequencing only and full service including library preparation. We supported investigators from NHLBI, NIDDK and NINDS, as well as a number of investigators from other NIH ICs. our sequencing platforms include Illumina Novaseq, Miseq and iSeq sequencers. We have also ability to perform long read sequencing using the Nanopore instrument. We provide high quality of sequencing services with fast turnaround time, usually within 2-3 days. The core is actively involved in discussion with the proteomics company Olink to introduce the technology in NHLBI DIR to perform protein profiling using next generation sequencing as readout.
