Abstract

The NMR Research Core Facility consulted on many projects in FY2021. The following investigators utilized the facilities. Paul Doetsch: The NMR core provided metabolomic analyses of yeast extracts. R. Scott Williams: The NMR core provided structural analyses of proteins related to DNA damage and repair pathways. Traci Hall: RNA structures were determined, and the binding of proteins were localized to structural features on the RNA structure. Jason Watts: The NMR core examined nucleotide samples for evidence of G quadruplex formation. Guohong Cui: The NMR core tested chemicals for authenticity Gaylia Jean Harry: Metabolomic samples of brain extracts were characterized. Suchitra Kaveri Hourigan: Fecal samples from leukemia survivors were characterized. Anton Marinus Jetten: Metablomic samples of liver, serum, and feces were examined for differences due to genetics and diet. Thomas Anthony Kunkel: Exonuclease domains were studied for dynamic responses. Cynthia Vanessa Rider: Botanical extracts were characterized. Jason Alexander Watts: Fecal samples from patients with chronic fatigue syndrome were characterized for metabolites present.
