Abstract
This year we have 1) generated data on samples collected during the previous fiscal year on 33 individuals with prior mild COVID-19 and 40 age- and sex-matched healthy controls with no history of COVID-19; these data types include flow cytometry, assay for transposase-accessible chromatin using sequencing (ATAC-seq), RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), and cellular indexing of transcriptomes and epitopes by sequencing (CITE-seq); 2) analyzed the data from several of the above assays, 3) determined that prior mild COVID-19 can have sex-specific impacts on the immune response to the influenza vaccine; 4) wrote a manuscript describing the findings that was subsequently deposited on medRxiv and also submitted to a peer-reviewed publication.
