Abstract
Monotherapy for bacterial infectious is failing at an increasing rate, and ofter relies on second or third line therapies. To address this, the project team is screening combinations of approved antibacterials or antibacterial+phage combinations to suggest novel combinations for evaluation in the treatment of bacterial infections. The emergence and spread of multidrug-resistant bacterial infections continues to hamper current treatment of bacterial infections, and may risk the emergence of infections refractive to therapy. To address this, the project team is leveraging its high-throughput matrix platform to assess drug-drug combinations and drug-phage combinations for further pre-clinical development.
