Abstract
An Oral (Gavage) Two-Generation Reproductive Toxicity Study of Eugenol in Rats (Study No. 01567001) Project Summary To evaluate the potential adverse effects of the test article on reproduction in a two-generation study. This will include determining the effects of the test article on male and female reproductive processes including gonadal function, estrous cyclicity, mating behavior, conception, gestation, parturition, lactation, weaning and on growth and development of the offspring. A minimum of one litter will be produced in each generation. In addition, the toxicokinetics of the test article will be examined during the study.
