Abstract
The objective of this project is to elucidate the dynamic relationships between tumor cells and the non-malignant cells within their tissue-specific microenvironments to identify and functionally validate actionable molecular and/or cellular targets for clinical translation. This project will specifically focus on revealing the tumor cell autonomous and non-cell autonomous mechanisms that promote immune evasion and disease progression using syngeneic murine osteosarcoma models and clinically annotated patient specimens.
