Abstract

Clinical projects - Established protocol of NHS-IL12/M7824 in Kaposi sarcoma Completed FDA review and IRB approval, awaiting confirmation with sponsor to open enrolment at the NCI - Completed KSHV-MCD protocol for review by scientific review committee - Pacritinib in KSHV-MCD protocol in progress - Gene expression patterns in GI and skin Kaposi sarcoma - 14 paired samples of gastrointestinal and cutaneous KS were obtained and analyzed with bulk RNA sequencing. Our analyses found that lytic KSHV genes were higher in GI samples. Of the host genes those that were clinically significant included FLT4, which encodes for a receptor of VEGF-C and VEGF-D. This data was presented as an oral abstract at the CROI 2020 meeting.
