Abstract

The Early Translation Branch's (ETB) overall goal is to uncover new small molecule therapeutics and catalyze the process of therapeutic development through a model of collaborative research. The main goal of this study is utilize protein NMR to understand how the previously developed cAbl inhibitors bind allosterically to the enzyme. In addition, this collaborative team will work to characterize the conformational changes this lead induces in the target. During this period, the collaborative team has developed a protein NMR research plan to interrogate compound binding, with a view to further improving the series with this structural data.
