Abstract

The Early Translation Branch's (ETB) overall goal is to uncover new small molecule therapeutics and catalyze the process of therapeutic development through a model of collaborative research The main goal of this collaboration is to evaluate the efficacy of cAbl allosteric modulators in several mouse models of these disorders and better understand what specific stress pathways are modulated by this treatment to promote apoptosis. During this period, scale-up of the lead cAbl allosteric inhibitor candidate was undertaken, and production of chow containing the test agent began, with the goal of enabling animal efficacy studies in several brain cancer relevant models.
