Abstract
The IRF has developed a moderate throughput assay for detection and quantification of neutralizing antibodies to SARS-CoV-2. Advances in identification of pathogen specific antibodies and techniques for propagating and purifying them has allowed development of antibodies as potential therapeutics with reduced possibility of complications. The IRF has been working with multiple collaborators to evaluate antibody candidates as well as convalescent plasma in in vitro neutralizing and total antibody assays and to evaluate potential therapeutics in the hamster model of COVID-19.
