Abstract

Chemical threats to the nervous system include chemical warfare nerve agents, pesticides, and various toxic industrial chemical/materials. The primary objective of this IAA is to support the research and early development of medical countermeasures (MCMs) against chemical threats that target the nervous system. Projects supported under this IAA were developed jointly between the NIH/NIAID/CCRP and the DoD/USAMRICD. This IAA specifically focuses on the chemical threats sarin, soman, VX, and paraoxon. requirements. This IAA is administered under the oversight of the NIAID/OBRS/CCRP.
