Abstract
Summary/Abstract The University of California, San Diego was awarded a R01 with PI, Palsson and Investigator, Feist under Grant number: 5R01GM057089. We now propose to augment this work with the addition of a single piece of equipment to automate omics data generation for this integrative modeling and experimental project. This augmentation will significantly increase the total number of data for the proposed aims (which will be made publicly available) and enable a more comprehensive model interpretation and hypothesis validation. This increased scope will better position the output of this award for application towards infectious disease and human health applications.
