Abstract
SUMMARY: This Administrative Supplement for Equipment requests supplemental funds to purchase an antiphase-lighting incubator system. This system consists of two identical growth incubators that can be programmed independently for antiphase-day/night conditions. To have an antiphase system will facilitate greatly the funded project because many of the proposed study require collecting data over a time-course from 24 to 72 hours. Plants sampled from both chambers at the same time are with a zeitgeber 12-hour difference so they only need to be sampled during the day time and also reduce sample to sample (or time to time) variation.
