Abstract
Project Summary This is an application for a Research Supplement to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (PA-20-222). The parent R01 grant associated with this application is entitled ?Targeting Lysine Methyltransferases EZH2 and EZH1 for Treating MLL-rearranged Leukemias? supported by NCI (5R01CA218600-04). Julia Velez is the diversity candidate. She is a US citizen of Hispanic/Latino descent and is currently an PhD student at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. The main goal of this study is to identify and characterize promising EZH2/1 degraders in MLL-rearranged leukemia cellular models.
