Abstract
The primary objective of this IAA is to develop small animal models of sulfur mustard (SM) toxicities that could support the research and early development of medical countermeasures. Animal models following sulfur mustard exposure will provide important information on mechanism of toxic action for the chemical threat agent to further the current understandings of major organ damages such as ocular, pulmonary, cutaneous, hematopoietic, gastrointestinal, hepatic, and neurological targets.
