Linkage to Support PLCO Screening Trial

Abstract

Linkage of Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian (PLCO) Cancer Screening Trial and National Lung Screening Trial (NLST) with the National Death Index (NDI) at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). Identifiable data from participants with unknown vital status will be sent to NDI from DCP?s contractor, Westat, and participating screening centers for linkage. The NDI will return potential matches and cause of death (NDI Plus.)
