Evaluation of a combination heptavalent vaccine

Abstract

The study is to examine the safety, immunogenicity and protective efficacy primarily for the inactivated rotavirus vaccine (IRV) in combination with other childhood vaccines in an animal model; this study will help establish proof of concept data for a heptavalent vaccine for parenteral vaccination. The study will also help identify immune markers and define correlates of protection, which will be useful in supporting upcoming human clinical trials.
